Today we talk about Kinsta hosting, a new managed hosting provider to create your website with WordPress.
Although it is a hosting service that has recently appeared in the WordPress landscape, Kinsta has already made itself known for its services.
In fact, on Kinsta we find different types of subscriptions and services, structured on the Google Cloud Platform.
Before seeing what services Kinsta offers, let’s see together what it is specifically and why to choose it. These are some of the questions we’ll be answering as part of this full Kinsta WordPress hosting review.

Custom Dashboard of Kinsta
The Kinsta dashboard is simple to use and gives you all the tools at your fingertips to manage your website.
From the Kinsta dashboard, you can install WordPress with a simple click, you can manage the cache of your website, the SSL certificate, you can verify the analytics, manage the DNS and your domain, and much more.
As usual, in order to write a truthful article, I tested Kinsta’s real capabilities by running a speed test.
In the speed test, I compared Kinsta and SiteGround. Both on the third level domain, with an active WordPress installation and a landing page created with Elementor Pro on the GeneratePress theme.
For SiteGround, I used the SGOptimizer plugin for cache management and page optimization.
For Kinsta I have not used any other plugins than Elementor and Elementor Pro, as Kinsta offers cache management integrated into the Hosting plan.
To get a detailed test report, I used two tools:
- Pingdom tools
As a data center, I used the same for both, namely London for Pingdom and Vancouver for GTmetrix. Now let’s see together what are results I have obtained.
Kinsta vs SiteGround – Pigdom Tools
In the image you see below, SiteGround’s performance grade is excellent, with a score of 88%, even if the load time of 1.47 seconds is slightly high for a simple landing page. The CDN is not activated.
In the image you see below, Kinsta has a better performance in terms of loading time; with 607 ms it has practically halved the times, even though the page was slightly heavier and with more requests to the server.
It must be said that a CDN is automatically activated on Kinsta, while on Siteground no, only if it is activated by the user.
Kinsta vs SiteGround – Gtmetrix
As you can see from the screenshot, the SiteGround Plugin does a great job of optimizing all aspects of loading. The PageSpeed Score is 98% and the YSlow Score at 83%, therefore a result A, but Page load is 3.0 seconds, so not fast at all!
If we look at the image below, at first glance, we immediately see that Kinsta’s score on GTmetrix is lower: Performance Scores 78%, equal to grade C, compared to SiteGround which has a score of 98%.
The difference is that the SiteGround Plugin optimizes images and uploads while at Kinsta there is no such option, even though the cache is managed and the CDN optimizes the upload processes.
The thing that I think makes the difference is the page load time. If you look at the next table, Page Details, Kinsta’s load time is significantly less than SiteGround’s page load, almost two seconds less!
To conclude this speed test, I tell you that with the same installations and contents, what makes the difference between one Hosting and another is the loading time of a page, so, without a doubt, from what I have been able to ascertain, I can tell you that between the two Hostings the fastest is Kinsta.
